“Green is widely associated with growth, life, and environmentalism. After paper money took on a green look, the color green is associated with prosperity and the color is associated with good luck because of St.Patricks Day. However, green is also associated with envy, inexperience, drunkenness, devilry, witchcraft, and illness. "In many Renaissance paintings the devil is depicted with green skin, and in horror films monsters often are green or greenish. For centuries, in winter, greenery with red berries has been used to decorate the interior of houses hence the colors symbolize Christmas"(Long, 2011, p.32). "In most parts of the world, pharmacy signs feature a green cross" (Color Meaning). In Islam, green is sacred and is seen in many mosques and flags of Muslim countries(Long, 2011, p.32).
